When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary to display the website correctly:

3. Cookies

To make your visit to our website more enjoyable and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.
Some of the cookies we use are automatically deleted at the end of your browser session (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and allow us or our partner companies (so-called third-party cookies) to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time, which can vary per cookie.
When cookies are set, they may collect and process certain user information, such as browser type, location data, and IP address values. Cookies are also used to simplify the ordering process by saving settings (for example, remembering the contents of your shopping basket for a later visit).
Where cookies also process personal data, processing takes place either:

  • according to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of a contract, or

  • according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the best possible functionality of our website and a user-friendly, efficient shopping experience.

We may also cooperate with advertising partners to make our website and offers more interesting for you. In such cases, cookies from partner companies may also be stored on your device (third-party cookies). You will be informed separately if and when we work with such partners.
Managing cookies
You can set your browser to inform you whenever cookies are placed, decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. Please note: if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

4. Use of Tracking and Analytics Tools

Meta Pixel (via WeTracked)
We use the Meta Pixel through our partner tool WeTracked to analyse website activity and measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. This helps us improve your shopping experience and present relevant offers.
The data collected is anonymous to us, but may be processed by Meta for advertising and analytics purposes in line with their Data Policy.
Processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time by adjusting your cookie settings.

5. Contacting Us

If you contact us (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail), we will collect personal data. The specific data collected through the contact form can be seen from the respective form itself.
This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and for the related technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is made for the purpose of concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved, provided there are no statutory retention obligations requiring further storage.

6. Data Processing When Opening a Customer Account and for Contract Fulfilment

In accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, we collect and process personal data if you provide it to us in order to fulfil a contract or when opening a customer account. The specific data collected can be seen from the respective input forms.
Your customer account can be deleted at any time by contacting us at the details provided above. We store and use the data you provide for the purpose of fulfilling your order and managing your customer account.
As part of order fulfilment, certain personal data (such as name, delivery address, and contact details) may be securely shared with our logistics and shipping partners for the sole purpose of delivering your order.
After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked in line with fiscal and commercial retention obligations and deleted after these periods expire, unless you have expressly consented to a longer use of your data or we are legally permitted to retain it.

7. Use of Your Data for Direct Advertising

7.1 Subscribing to our Email Newsletter
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you updates and information about our collections and exclusive offers. The only mandatory information required is your email address. Any additional information is voluntary and allows us to address you personally.
By entering your email address and clicking “Subscribe”, you consent to receiving our newsletter in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Unlike the double opt-in process, you will not receive a separate confirmation email before being added to our mailing list.
When subscribing, we may store the IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) at the time of registration, as well as the date and time, to help prevent misuse of your email address.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us directly. After unsubscribing, your email address will be immediately removed from our distribution list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data, or we are legally permitted to retain it.

7.2 Sending Email Newsletters to Existing Customers
If you have provided us with your email address in connection with a purchase, we may use it to send you information about similar products or services from our range, even without explicit prior consent.
This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you initially objected to this use of your email address, we will not send you any messages. You may object to the use of your email address for direct advertising purposes at any time with future effect by notifying us at the contact details provided. After receiving your objection, your email address will no longer be used for advertising purposes.

8. Data Processing for Order Processing

8.1 The personal data we collect will be shared with the shipping and logistics partners responsible for delivery, to the extent that this is necessary for fulfilling your order. In the case of order fulfilment through external suppliers or fulfilment partners, your data (such as name, delivery address, and contact details) will also be securely transmitted to these partners solely for the purpose of contract performance and delivery.
We will also transfer your payment data to the financial institution or payment service provider commissioned with payment processing, insofar as this is necessary for handling the payment. Where payment service providers are involved, such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, data processing will take place in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The legal basis for this data processing and transfer is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as it is required to perform the contract.

9. Contact for Review Requests

If you have given us your explicit consent during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we may use your email address to send you a one-time reminder to provide a review of your purchase. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us at the contact details provided.

11. Online Marketing

11.1 Google Ads (formerly DoubleClick)
Our website uses the online marketing services of Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reporting, and to avoid showing the same ad multiple times. By means of a cookie ID, Google can track which ads are displayed in which browser and can prevent them from being shown repeatedly.
Google Ads may also use cookie IDs to measure conversions that are related to ad requests. For example, when a user sees a Google ad and later visits our website with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, these cookies do not contain personal information.
Due to the integration of this marketing tool, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s servers. We have no control over the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through this service. To our knowledge, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate your visit with your account. Even if you are not logged into a Google account, there is a possibility that Google processes your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process by:

  • disabling conversion tracking cookies in your browser settings,

  • adjusting ad personalisation settings in your Google Ads Settings or

  • using the opt-out options provided by the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Please note: if you disable cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

11.2 Use of Google Ads Conversion Tracking

Our website uses the online advertising service Google Ads and, as part of this, Google Ads Conversion Tracking, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our collections on external websites with the help of advertising campaigns. This allows us to measure how successful individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to display advertisements that are relevant to you, to make our website more appealing, and to achieve fair cost calculations for our advertising.
The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website before the cookie has expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site.
Each Google Ads customer receives a unique cookie, so cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of other Ads customers. The information collected is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have enabled conversion tracking. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag, but we do not receive any information that personally identifies users.
We use Google Ads Conversion Tracking on the basis of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the effectiveness of our campaigns in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For more details on how Google handles data, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

12. Web Analytics Services

Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity.
By default, Google Analytics anonymises IP addresses within the EU/EEA by truncating them before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there.
Data processing takes place on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by adjusting your cookie settings.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services relating to website usage and internet activity. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Google may transfer data to servers in the United States and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure GDPR-compliant data protection.
For more information about Google Analytics, please visit Google's Help Page and Google's Privacy Policy.

13. Retargeting / Remarketing / Recommendation Advertising

This website uses the Meta Pixel, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
If you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the Meta Pixel enables us to track user behaviour after they click on or view a Meta ad. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of our ads for statistical and market research purposes and helps us optimise future campaigns.
The data collected is anonymous to us and does not reveal the identity of users. However, Meta may link this data to user profiles and use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta’s Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy). For these purposes, a cookie may be stored on your device.
Consent to the use of the Meta Pixel can only be given by users over the age of 13. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian for permission.

13.2 Google Ads Remarketing
Our website uses the remarketing functions of Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
For this purpose, Google places a cookie on your device, which enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you visit. Processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Further processing only occurs if you have consented within your Google account to link your browsing history with your Google account and to allow information from your Google account to be used to personalise ads. If you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google may use your data together with Google Analytics to create target groups for cross-device remarketing.
You can permanently disable cookies for ad personalisation by adjusting your browser settings or by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here: www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb
You can also adjust your advertising preferences at the Digital Advertising Alliance (www.aboutads.info). Please note that if you disable cookies, some website functions may be limited.

14. Rights of the Data Subject

Under applicable data protection law (GDPR), you have extensive rights regarding the processing of your personal data. These include:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data as well as detailed information about the processing.

  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You have the right to request the immediate correction of inaccurate personal data and to have incomplete data completed.

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, provided that one of the grounds under Art. 17(1) GDPR applies. This right may be excluded if processing is necessary for reasons such as freedom of expression, legal obligations, public interest, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request restriction of processing under certain conditions, for example if you contest the accuracy of the data, object to erasure of unlawfully processed data, or require the data for legal claims even though we no longer need it.

  • Right to notification (Art. 19 GDPR): If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, we are obliged to inform all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller, where technically feasible.

  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

  • Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): If you believe your personal data is being processed in violation of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work, or where the alleged infringement occurred. In Ireland, this is the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie)

14.1 Right to Object

  • Processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21(1) GDPR):
If we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (for example, as part of a balancing of interests), you have the right to object to such processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

  • Processing for direct marketing purposes (Art. 21(2) GDPR):
If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to such processing.

If you exercise your right to object, your personal data will no longer be processed for direct marketing purposes.

14. Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The storage period of personal data is determined by the applicable statutory retention requirements (e.g. commercial and tax retention obligations). After these periods expire, the relevant data will be routinely deleted, provided it is no longer necessary for fulfilling or negotiating a contract and/or there is no legitimate interest on our part in continued storage.

Specifically:

  • Order and payment data: retained in line with statutory retention periods (usually 6–7 years for tax/accounting purposes).
  • Customer accounts: retained for as long as the account remains active. If a customer requests deletion, data will be removed unless legal obligations require longer storage.
  • Marketing data (e.g. newsletter subscriptions): retained until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe.
